Goin' Country - Inside the Lake House

This is the last, and biggest, post from our trip to Anderson Ranch last weekend. We spent a fair amount of time inside the Lake House because of the dreary weather. The house is colorfully decorated with ornate country themes.

Even when out of town, I can't pass up a chance to read the paper.

While I read the paper, Angie played Jenga with Taylor and Savannah. The Lake House has a giant window that lets in some wonderful light.

Brent lets out a hardy laugh while opening birthday presents.

The reason for such a great laugh: an over-sized pair of boxers ... from his mother!

Brent takes a bite out of his Cold Stone ice cream cake.

Savannah gets a hint from her mother, Tori, while playing Scene It Disney. The kids are really good at that game!

Savannah sits with Gramma Karen while playing the game.

Brent lets out a good smile as the weekend wraps up. It was his idea to spend his 25th birthday in the country and we're glad we were able to be a part of it. Thanks for inviting us, Brent!

Tori catches a few Zs on the couch. It was a good, long, lazy weekend.
